Alexa has new features to help you during this quarantine. Check inside for more details

Coronavirus lockdown has vastly affected everyone's daily routine, and people all around the world are forced to stay indoors to prevent the virus spread. Amazon recently announced few new features in their Alexa Echo speakers amid this lockdown. These new features can help users to get accustomed to their new daily routine.

New routines to manage your work schedule

Amazon introduced a new routine option in the Echo devices to help users who are working from home during this pandemic. In this latest update, they have included two new options such as Work from home and stay at home. These new options help users to schedule, manage, and organize their works during this lockdown. If you need a break fro your hectic work schedule, Alexa can also entertain you by reciting some fun facts.

To enable this latest feature, users need to open the Alexa app on their phone and click the hamburger menu. In this, select routines and click the featured option to view the two new routines. Here, you can enable these routines, and you can personalize them based on your requirements.

Alexa can help you to stay away from Corona

Due to coronavirus, it is recommended to wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds. To track whether you are following this properly, you can ask Alexa to sing a song for 20 seconds. The voice assistance will play a tune related to hand washing for the mentioned time. This feature comes even more handy to track whether your children are washing their hands properly.

Alexa can clear your coronavirus related doubts

To help its users during this pandemic time, Amazon has introduced a new feature in their voice assistance with the guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. With this new feature, users can ask their queries related to coronavirus, and Alexa will respond to them with corresponding answers.

With this latest update, Amazon is lending their hands to help its users during this pandemic time.
