Instagram has rolled out pinned comment feature for everyone. The feature was first announced in May 2020, and the feature is now available for all the users. Instagram users can now pin up to 3 comments, and the pinned comments will appear on the top of the thread with a pinned label.
Instagram announced this latest feature in its official Twitter account. The pinned comment feature is already available on platforms like Youtube and telegram, and Instagram is the latest addition to this list.

The pinned comment feature is so helpful to highlight a positive message, or it can also be used to share any important information and updates related to a particular post. To pin a particular comment, users need to long-press or swipe the comment left, and the pin comment option will appear along with other options like reply, delete, and report options. If a user pins a particular comment, the commenter will get notified of the same.

In addition to this, Instagram also introduces batch delete option, now users can select up to 25 comments and can delete them instantly. Users can also restrict or a particular person from commenting by clicking the three dots on the top right corner.
A few days back, Instagram started testing a 15 seconds short video feature called "Reels" in India to fill the void space created due to the absence of TikTok. With the latest updates, Instagram is trying to create a more positive and healthier environment for all its users.
