Realme X3 Series launched in India along with Realme Buds Q and Realme Adventurer Backpack

Realme today unwrapped the most awaited Realme X3 series besides Realme Buds Q and Realme backpack. The star of the show is Realme X3 Superzoom, which offers a whopping 60X zoom without breaking your bank. Let's find out more in detail about Realme's latest launches in this post.

Realme X3 Series

Realme launched two new smartphones today, Realme X3 Super Zoom and Realme X3. Let's start with the elephant in the room, Realme X3 Superzoom. Realme X3 Super Zoom boasts a 6.6" FHD+ LCD-display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The display has a punch-hole cutout for the dual front-facing snappers, and it is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 to prevent the display from accidental drops and minor scratches.

Powering the smartphone is Qualcomm's last-gen flagship Snapdragon 855+ processor. Snapdragon 855+ is a super-powerful chipset, and it can easily destroy anything you throw at it without any hiccups. The Adreno 640 GPU can easily handle your PUBG sessions at high graphic settings without any issues.

As the name suggests, Realme X3 Super Zoom's main USP lies in its camera department. Realme X3 Super Zoom is equipped with a quad-camera setup with the primary camera being 64 MP regular sensor with f/1.8 aperture. The second camera is an 8 MP ultrawide lens with 119 degrees FOV and f/2.3 aperture. The third camera is an 8 MP periscope lens with f/3.4 aperture, and it is optically stabilized, and it can do 5X optical zoom and 60X zoom digitally. The final camera is 2 MP macro lens which can capture images as close as 4cms. To the front, the smartphone has 32 MP regular sensor with 8 MP ultrawide lens tucked inside the punch hole.

The smartphone is fueled by a 4200 mAh battery, and Realme has bundled in a 30W dart charger inside the box. The smartphone lacks the good old headphone jack and has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security in addition to the face unlock support.

Realme X3 has the same specifications as that of its elder sibling expect in the camera department. The 8 MP periscope lens is replaced with a much conventional 12 MP telephoto lens with 2X optical zoom, and it also misses out the Optical image stabilization, whereas other rear cameras were left untouched. The front camera is also downgraded from 32 MP to 16 MP in Realme X3. Both the smartphone supports Nightscape 4.0 for low light photos and a starry night feature to capture the beautiful cosmos similar to the astrography mode in GCam.
